We have a NEW mission!

Just as I promised, I want to share with you the changes going on with A Light Hearted Life. When I started in 2020 I just wanted to share on social media about Jesus and what living a "light hearted" life meant. Jesus said “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

With all of the fear and craziness of the pandemic going on, I felt called to share about the peace that a relationship with Jesus can bring. I knew that I wanted to reach people with the gospel, but I didn't really know how I was going to do that.

I knew that Jesus spent his ministry demonstrating love and serving others so I decided that I wanted to do that too. After a year of organizing fundraisers and service projects, I feel like I am called to refocus this organization back to my original calling and that is furthering the kingdom of God by making disciples! In doing that, we will still be involved in serving others and promoting the causes that He cares about because that is part of furthering his kingdom but our main work will be in women's ministry.

A Light Hearted Life's NEW central mission is to glorify God by leading all women to embrace their God given calling to further His kingdom and demonstrate Jesus’ love to a broken world. Our vision is to make disciples of women and empower them to pursue ministry opportunities that serve others and testify to His unfailing grace and glory. All of that is just a formal way of saying I want to lead women to pursue their callings and become disciples for Christ!
