Laura Dalton -A Light Hearted Life
The Love Walk

If ever a time to love were existing it is now! The greatest love book that was ever written was the word of truth. John 15:13, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Wow! Who would lay down their lives for friends? In today's times, it is rare to find because too many have lost the foundation of true love. Now, love for most is in things, status, money, sex, twisted obsessions, and fleshly desires. How did true love get so far beset from mankind? How did the beauty and art of love fall away from most? Love is a powerful word, and love is a verb, which means it takes action. What kind of actions represent love? One of the greatest examples was God giving His only begotten Son to the world to save it. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Awe so here is the answer in a book of love written thousands of years ago. Believing is the answer, how a man thinketh so is he. Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Wow! Our thoughts either drive us to believe the truth or lie and deceit. John 3:18 tells us if we do not believe then we are already condemned, but if we do believe we are not condemned. The book of love and truth is in the Bible, and it is the only safe ground to stand on! John 3:19 gives us the penality of not believing in the word of truth in the Bible, which is men love darkness more than the light, and condemnation for the evil men is the light that came into the world but their love for darkness is evil. The banner of love has been waving over America and I am not talking about the United States flag. The banner of love is from the father who loves this whole world. He uses banners as His war tools or enduring tools for us. Song of Solomon 2:4, He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. What was it about the banqueting house that caused such love to wave a banner over us? As I researched the word banqueting in the old language, I found that it was only mentioned once in the Bible, and its original name is yayin (yah yin) and it meant wine. Oh my! I would have never thought that banqueting meant "wine"! I decided to get detail and look up the house so I would have a clear definition and increase my understanding. House is the old word bayit (bah yith) and it meant dwelling habitation, shelter, the abode of light, and receptacle. What? A wine dwelling habitation for shelter and light to be a receptacle? Wow! I immediately remembered that God can not pour new wine into an old wineskin. I also thought about how God takes up His dwelling with us and He is our habitation, and we take shelter under His wings, now that is love! We are to be the light to the world and a receptacle that God can pour the new wine into. My God this is good!! Who would have thought that a banqueting house would mean all of this! God told us in His holy word to study the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. This is why it is so very important to go to the old language to get the original meaning so we can rightly divide the word of truth and get the hidden meanings. Psalms 90:1, (A Prayer of Moses the man of God.) Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. (this is unto us too) Mark 2:22, And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. Being a new wineskin for God to pour into is why we must perfect our love walk. Without love and faith to believe in Him and His son will be impossible to please Him. Romans 8:8, So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Ephesians 2:22, In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Let us not forget that the banqueting house is also a light. Ephesians 5:8, For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. Matthew 5:14, Ye are the light of the world. 1 Thessalonians 5:5, Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Let us not forget that house is also a shelter. Psalms 91:1, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 1 John 4:18, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. God is feeding us good food by His holy word of truth! Yummie!! In order for us to walk in love we must first believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We must allow God to purify us so He may create a new wineskin for us to be poured into. We must love at all times and never fear. The lack of fear brings us into a perfected love walk. I John 4:18 said he that feareth is not made perfect in love, so to be perfect in love we must cast down ALL fear! God has called us to be perfect. Matthew 5:48, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Now, God is not talking about being perfect in this flesh, because the word tells us there is no good thing that dwells in the flesh... Romans 7:18, For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing. When God said be perfect as I am perfect, He was referring to our spirit man. God is not flesh He is spirit, and we were made in His image and likeness. Our spirit man is housed in a body but no good is in this flesh. Genesis 1:26, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. We were made a spirit man that had a dust body covering, and then God took the dust of the ground and made He a man (not dirt as we know land). Genesis 2:7, And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Here is where it gets good! God made Adam out of the dust of the ground, but heaven, where God dwells, had streets of gold, so the dust of God's ground had to be gold dust. Wow!! John saw an open vision of heaven... Revelation 21:21, And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. Aren't you glad we are studying and rightly dividing the word of truth! Bless God for opening the hidden secrets and mysteries unto us. I am so grateful that God has revealed his truth to us and backed it all up by His holy word. Believing in Jesus, trusting and having faith in God, crying out to Him, and praising God are ways to help us perfect our love walk, but there is more! We must exercise patience. James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Patience in James 1:4 is the old word hypomone (hoop om on ay) which means steadfastness, constancy, endurance and we are to do so patiently and steadfast. 2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Finally, we are to be perfect in unity as one mind, the mind of Christ Jesus, live in peace with one another, which have not been seen in the 21st century, but if we obey what God has taught us to do in His holy word of truth, God of love and peace shall be with you. Amen 1 Corinthians 2:16, For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Romans 15:6, That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now that we have learned the word of truth, let us, therefore, go forth and walk in perfect love towards one another. In Christ Jesus name
