A thought for this Thanksgiving
Sometimes life takes over our thoughts leaving us unsure of what to be thankful for heading into this upcoming season of thankfulness. During this season, if we allow quiet time with the LORD, we would have the opportunity to be reminded of His intense, undeniable giving spirit for us.
Jesus gave His very life to provide for us. With a deep, meaningful relationship with Jesus, we have all and everything we need.
The word confident appears 120 times in the Bible. The Greek word for confident is batach (baw-takh).
The definition of this word is:
· Be Bold
Holidays can be tough for many. As they get underway, let me be the first to say Happy Thanksgiving with Psalm 27:3
“Though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident”
Trust Him, He is your refuge. Be bold in the fact that He has you and secure in His hope.
This Thanksgiving when negative emotions/thoughts creep in remember to be CONFIDENT.
God Bless you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
